Abstract
The first Meeting for the Faculty Development in The School of Marine Science and Technology was held at the Shimizu Campus on20th February in2004.The meeting focused the educational significance in the Marine Practice and Training that has been performed as a key curriculum in our school.Some staffs present the current conditions in the training cruise,and then,together with graduate students,point out various problems that should be corrected as soon as possible. We introduce the reports,opinions and their associated discussions in the meeting,and hope that they will be a helpful guidance for corrections in future.
