Abstract
As society ages,we fear that the Japanese economy will continue to decline.Likewise, there will be a decrease in the working population of this country. Thus,a tourism development project has been established by some local residents in an effort to revitalize the local economy. In this paper,as one of the projects to reinvigorate local economies,we analyze the ends and means of the project to try to attract educational tourism through a case study of the Sei-Sei Educational Travel Attraction Conference. In the results, the author recognizes that contact with the local cultures and traditions are the most important factors in this educational tourism development project.
