Abstract
Tanzawa mountaineous region is located Fossa Magna area and Izu-Bonin arc northern edge. This region is considered as important area to elucidate formation in the Island arc crust. In geological setting, plutonic complex which consists of a gabbro and a tonalite are distributed in a central part, and surrounding area Tanzawa layer group is distributed. The upward movement of the pulutonic complex, there are shown doming up structure.
Takita(1974)discussed for a structure of plutonic complex, and concluded the foliation of tonalite distributed over Tanzawa mountainous region was checked on the west side on reaching the Omatasawa, but this could’t be checked on the east side. However, existence of the foliation also became clearer in Nishi-Tanzawa on the east side more than a Omatasawa of recent research achievement (Kanamaru and Takahashi, 2005)main investigation. As a result of having made a cross section and a figure of model, foliation is almost presented the NW strike direction along plutonic complex, and as for a dip, shown steep, from 60 to 88 degrees.
Chemical analysis data for a tonalite, there are shown without abnormality of the Eu value.
